This interactive version of US History I has been newly developed by panOpen. It contains updated content, such as refined learning objectives, new essential questions, images and special topic feature boxes. This version of US History also includes interactive "Check Your Understanding" activities in each section, and new summative chapter quizzes. US History is a fully-developed turnkey course, ready to use in the classroom. As with all of the content in the panOpen library, it can also be customized, personalized and remixed. The content of U.S. History covers the breadth of the chronological history of the United States and also provides the necessary depth to ensure the course is manageable for instructors and students alike. U.S. History is designed to meet the scope and sequence requirements of most courses. The authors introduce key forces and major developments that together form the American experience, with particular attention paid to considering issues of race, class, and gender.
