Principles of the Law of Evidence in Zambia is an authoritative text that provides a comprehensive, in-depth and thought-provoking account of the modern law of evidence in Zambia in both criminal and civil cases. It explores the challenge of protecting both the constitutional rights of accused persons and the interests of victims of crime, while guarding the public interest in maintaining an effective criminal justice system. Current law is critically analysed and recommendations are made for review and possible improvement.
